Volumes of agricultural exports by road are declining at most borders

In the first half of November, 202.7 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine by road, which is 10% less than in the same period in October. It is reported by https://agroportal.ua/, referring to the analytics of Spike Brokers.
“There is a decline in exports at most borders. Thus, in the Romanian and Polish directions, exports decreased by 15.7% and 13.5%, respectively, to 57.2 thousand tons and 75.9 thousand tons. The decline on the Slovak and Hungarian borders is less significant – 8.7% and 5%, which amounts to 13.5 thousand tons and 22 thousand tons. However, there is a positive trend on the Moldovan border – exports increased by 15%, reaching 34.2 thousand tons compared to October,” the report says.
Among the main exported products, the leaders are sunflower oil (29.9 thousand tons) and soybeans (17.9 thousand tons).
“The absence of queues at border crossings and the stability of fuel prices allow to keep the cost of transportation by road at the level of the previous week,” the report emphasizes.
