Annual cyclical rate reassessment. The main factors influencing changes in the base rate (excluding fuel) are: inflation index, exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro, and the average wage in the transport sector. Each factor is calculated for the period from the beginning of cooperation to the end of the current review month (in percentage terms).
Thus, the base rate (excluding fuel) for transportation services is adjusted based on changes in the following sources:
a) In the case of changes in the inflation index (consumer price index for goods and services) according to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (http://www.ukrstat.gov.ua/); and/or
b) In the case of an increase in the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro (http://minfin.com.ua/currency/mb/); and/or
c) In the case of an increase in the average wage in the transport sector of Ukraine or in the region where the service provider operates, according to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (http://www.ukrstat.gov.ua/).
Notification of rate changes will be sent at least 14 calendar days before the new rates take effect unless otherwise specified in the contract. This does not apply to the fuel surcharge, which changes automatically without written notifications at the beginning of the next financial period.
