China is developing warehouse logistics outside the country

China is actively developing warehouse logistics outside the country. This is reported by Railway Supply, a railway transport news portal.
The Ministry of Commerce of China reports that there are more than 120 thousand companies operating in the field of cross-border e-commerce in the country. Outside the country, there are more than 2,500 warehouses with a total area of 30 million square meters, of which about 1,800 are focused on e-commerce. The latter has become a key factor in the growth of warehouse logistics.
This sector is actively expanding its network of sites for transshipment, storage and sorting of goods. Technologies and working methods are also constantly improving, which contributes to the further development of logistics processes.
In recent months, European consumers’ demand for Chinese food and beverages has increased significantly. The development of cross-border e-commerce and improvements in warehouse logistics have played an important role in this process.
