“Transport visa-free regime” between Ukraine and the EU extended until the end of the year

Liberalization of freight traffic between Ukraine and the European Union has been officially extended until December 31, 2025. This was announced by Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Agribusiness Today reports.
It is noted that this automatic extension became possible due to the clear and coordinated work of the team of Ukraine and the European Commission. “Road transportation has become vital for the Ukrainian economy. We export value-added goods and import everything we need, and we do it quickly and efficiently,” the official emphasized.
During the period of the “transport visa-free regime”, exports by road to the EU increased by 42% and imports by road by 37%.
The liberalization of freight transportation also ensures a stable movement of goods even in times of war.
