In January-October this year, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) of Ukraine supported domestic exports by almost UAH 6.6 billion. This was stated by First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, Agravery.com reports. “Thanks to the Made in Ukraine economic policy, support for Ukrainian producers supplying their products to foreign markets is growing. Over ten months of this year, the Export Credit Agency has financed one-third more exports – UAH 6.59 billion versus UAH 4.99 billion over the same period last year,” Svyrydenko said. As specified, this year ECA supported businesses from 19 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. The leaders in terms of supported exports are. Kyiv (UAH 3.39 billion), as well as Lviv (UAH 1.25 billion) and Vinnytsia (UAH 702 million) regions. “Most Ukrainian exporters who benefited from the ECA support shipped their products to Poland (UAH 1.62 billion), the UAE (UAH 860 million) and Azerbaijan (UAH 831.7 million). Among the most popular export groups are milk and dairy products, wood and wood products, and agro-processed products,” the report adds.
