Global e-commerce logistics and the e-services market will grow rapidly this year. This forecast was published in a new report by Ti Insight, whose authors claim that the market is expected to grow by 15.5% this year. According to experts, this dynamic is unlikely to be disrupted even by such new bans as Trump’s initiative to abolish de minimis rules and impose import duties, Logist.FM reports.
The Global E-Commerce Logistics and E-Fulfillment report states that the market has resumed its sharp upward trajectory after a covid decline in 2022 and was estimated at €521.9 billion ($569 billion) last year. This is double the market value recorded just before the pandemic in 2019.
“We are now seeing significant differentiation between e-commerce logistics providers and order fulfillment players across continents as they adapt to the delivery requirements of retailers and customers,” said Paul Chapman, Senior Editor at Ti Insight. He also noted that the global e-commerce industry is constantly growing, along with the logistics that serves it.
